Short version: the price is the same either way. Balicopter sells at one public rate whether you book with them directly, through their Klook listing, or through us. We do not mark it up and we cannot discount it, so if price is the only thing you care about, book wherever is easiest for you.
If four different friends are booking a private charter, someone has to coordinate names, weights, payment and timing. That is us, not four separate group chats.

Every route has two prices. Same aircraft, same route, the difference is who else is on the flight and how the price is split.
One seat on a group flight
Priced per person. Cheaper per head, but the flight only goes ahead once enough seats are filled.

One route is exclusive to this heliport: the Ijen Tour (100 min). Ijen Crater, Menjangan Island, Tanah Lot Temple. Shared Rp 20,999,000 per seat, private Rp 64,999,000.
If you are staying in Canggu, Berawa or Nuanu itself, this heliport is the closer option. Message us and we will confirm the exact route menu and any price difference for the flight you are after.
If there are four of you, book private. Balicopter’s own pricing shows booking the whole aircraft usually costs less per person than four people each booking a shared seat, sometimes by 15 to 25%.
Uluwatu Skyline, group of 4
Private is about 23% cheaper for the same flight. On the 40-minute Canggu & Uluwatu route the gap is also around 20%. Use the calculator above for your route.
The trade-off runs the other way with fewer than four people. A group of 2 or 3 booking private usually pays more per person than booking shared seats, because the private price does not scale down. If you are not a full group of 4, shared seats are usually the better value. We will do this math for your specific group size and route if you message us.

Children 2 and over, or over 10 kg (22 lb), need their own seat. Under 2s fly free on a parent's lap. The weight limit is 130 kg (285 lb) per passenger.

These are facts about the helicopter’s aircraft and operation, not claims we are making about ourselves. We book your flight with them; we do not fly it.
Yes. A shared seat needs full prepayment to confirm your place on that flight. If enough other passengers do not book the same slot, Balicopter offers either an upgrade to a private flight at an additional cost, or a full refund. You are not left without an option either way.
Private tours can be booked any day, subject to helicopter availability. Message us with your date and we will check real-time availability with Balicopter directly.
As early as you can, especially for popular routes and during peak season, since your seat is only confirmed once payment is received and enough of the flight fills up.
Children aged 2 and over, or over 10 kg (22 lb), need their own seat and count as a passenger. Under 2s fly free on a parent’s lap.
There is a weight limit of 130 kg (285 lb) per passenger. If anyone in your group is near that, tell us when you book so the aircraft can be balanced, and message Balicopter directly for anything above it.
Comfortable clothing you can move in. Loose scarves, hats, or anything that could blow off near the helipad are best left in the car. Closed-toe shoes are a sensible choice around any helipad.
